Discount Option Not Visible for “All Products” or “Specific Collections”

Due to current limitations within Shopify’s Discount API, which our app relies on, applying discounts across all products can have a negative impact on overall store performance. In particular, large catalogs combined with automatic discount calculations may lead to slower storefront behavior and a less optimal customer experience.


In addition to these technical constraints, we have also received consistent feedback from many merchants requesting the ability to hide or restrict the “discount on all products” option, as it does not always align with their promotional strategy or store setup.


To balance performance, stability, and merchant preferences, we have made the decision to enable discounts only when specific products are selected. This approach ensures better performance, more predictable discount behavior, and greater control over how and where discounts are applied.





We appreciate your understanding as we continue to work within Shopify’s framework while striving to deliver the best possible experience. If Shopify introduces improvements to their Discount API in the future, we will certainly evaluate expanding this functionality.
