Why am I not able to verify the app block in the Customization section?

When you access the Customization section and click on the Verify button, an error message is shown, 'Verify failed, please try again':




There are two potential reasons for this issue:


Reason 1: You have not added the app block to your Theme Editor yet.


If this is the case, please click on the link 'Learn how to add app block' to find out how to add it. 


After adding app block, but still you cannot verify successfully, please contact our support team for more guidance.




Reason 2: You are using a 1.0 (Vintage) theme, which is not supported by our Fether app.


Unfortunately, we're unable to support Vintage (non-2.0) themes due to Shopify's discontinued write_theme permission. Additionally, as partners with the Built for Shopify badge, we must adhere to Shopify's Theme App Extension guidelines, which prevent us from inserting code manually to ensure no remnants remain after uninstallation.


We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to consider upgrading to an Online Store 2.0 theme.
