The concept is that the discount will only be applied when the customer genuinely adds an item to their cart.
Based on our previous research, adding code to continuously check whether visitors have selected or deselected items on the Product page could potentially have a negative impact on your storefront's performance.
Rest assured, we are actively seeking a workaround or exploring any better APIs provided by Shopify. Once we find a solution or if Shopify offers an improved API, we will certainly enhance our app accordingly.
